Nestlé Novasource Diabet Plus Vanilla Flavor 500ml is a complete polymeric formula specially designed for people with diabetes or hyperglycemia who have increased energy and protein needs, altered food intake, or are at risk of malnutrition. With an energy density of 1.5 kcal/ml, it provides a high nutritional intake in a small volume, making it suitable for oral or enteral tube feeding. Each 500ml pack provides approximately 750 kcal, 38g of protein, 60g of carbohydrates, 37g of lipids, 11g of fiber, and about 2000mg of omega-3 fatty acids. This composition helps meet the nutritional needs of people at higher risk of muscle loss and energy deficit, while maintaining a carbohydrate distribution adapted to diabetes. The formula contains isomaltulose, a slow-digesting carbohydrate with a low glycemic index, combined with partially hydrolyzed guar gum (PHGG), a soluble fiber that promotes intestinal health and contributes to a more gradual absorption of carbohydrates. It also includes high biological value milk proteins, fish oil rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and essential minerals to ensure complete nutrition. Clinically lactose-free and gluten-free, Novasource Diabet Plus is indicated in situations such as diabetes associated with malnutrition, anorexia or insufficient intake, dementia, cancer, pressure ulcers, frailty, or recovery after a hip fracture, always according to the assessment of a healthcare professional.

Shake well before opening. Consume orally or administer via enteral feeding tube, as directed by a healthcare professional. As a nutritional supplement, the daily amount depends on individual needs; as an exclusive food source, the dose should be determined by a doctor or nutritionist. Do not administer intravenously. After opening, keep properly closed and consume within the time recommended by the manufacturer.
