Product Description

The Aposán Rana Federica Immobilizing Splint, Size S, is a digital splint designed to help immobilize and stabilize the interphalangeal joints of the finger, keeping it in a functional position. The malleable aluminum structure, combined with a padded inner lining, allows the splint to adapt to the finger and provides greater comfort during use.
It is a bilateral model, suitable for use on either the right or left hand. The size S version has approximate dimensions of 6.1 x 2.2 cm (length x width).

Product Description

The Rana Federica splint has a malleable aluminum structure that allows for individual adaptation to the shape and position of the finger. The interior is lined with polyethylene foam, providing a cushioned surface to support the affected finger.

Its design allows for the stabilization of the interphalangeal joints and can be used to maintain the distal joint in the correct position, as directed by a healthcare professional.

The splint is adjusted using its lateral tabs, which can be molded to adapt to the phalanges. Being bilateral, it can be used on both hands.

Place the affected finger on the padded area of the splint. The orthosis should be positioned on the palmar side of the hand.

Carefully adjust the side wings, molding them so that they fit snugly over the middle and proximal phalanges. The distal end of the finger should not extend beyond the end of the splint.

The adjustment should be made properly to ensure the intended stabilization without exerting excessive pressure on the finger.

The splint should be fitted according to the instructions of a healthcare professional;
Do not overtighten the wings to avoid unnecessary pressure on the finger;
Regularly check the skin and blood circulation during use;
Discontinue use if intense pain, numbness, changes in skin color, or worsening discomfort occur;
